The pressure ratings of these adapters often exceed the pressure holding ability of the fittings and tubing used with them

Create a true zero dead volume connection between 1/16 in. capillary tubing with Upchurch Scientific® MicroTight™ Adapters from IDEX Health & Science in an inline connection with the ability to withstand up to 5,000 psi (345 bar), depending upon the adapter configuration. (When MicroTight tubing sleeves are used, the pressure rating lowers to 4,000 psi / 276 bar).

External National Pipe Thread Adapters make connections to female 1/8 in and 1/4 in National Pipe Thread (NPT) ports. Manufactured from PEEK™ polymer by IDEX Health & Science, Upchurch Scientific® NPT Adapters are durable and chemically resistant and available in a variety of female threads, plus a male threaded version that is suitable for most low pressure applications. Please Note: Wrap the threads on the NPT side of these adapters with thread seal tape (plumbers tape) to ensure a leak-free seal.
