VWR's products retain their clarity after gamma sterilization, maintain integrity of the contents, and more, so they are guaranteed to exceed customers’ expectations and requirement.

VWR polythylene terephthalate copolyester (PETG) sterile serum vials are ideal for diagnostic specimen, safe storage, transfer and transport of antibodies, proteins, nucleic acids, enzyme and substrates. All VWR PETG vials meet with current biological and pharmaceutical regulatory standards, such as: USP Class VI, non-cytotoxic, non-pyrogenic, USP <661>, European Pharmacopeia for Abnormal toxicity. They are made from ADCF (Animal Derived Component Free) materials. PETG vials are suitable for air shipment and are tested during each manufacturing run to ensure leak-proof performance.

Our line of tamper-evident media bottles and vials are exclusively made with this resin to satisfy the critical requirements of the in-vitro fertilization media, and all cell culture fluids.

It is an amorphous material that displays performance properties including clarity, toughness, excellent gas barrier and chemical inertness.The products can be safely sterilized with gamma radiation without property loss or color shift.
