Microplates Cell Culture Plates
These 96-well flat-bottom polystyrene plates have opaque walls to prevent well-to-well crosstalk and optically clear bottoms to permit direct microscopic viewing

Tissue culture treated plates are sterile, have a cell growth surface area of 0.32 cm2 per well. Nonbinding surface (NBS®) treated plates utilize a nonionic hydrophilic surface (polyethylene oxide-like) to minimize molecular interactions. Non-treated and high binding plates are ideal for assays where visualization is preferred, but cell attachment is not required. Rigid styrene lids available separately.

Plates can be used in both top and bottom reading instruments. Bottoms are 60% thinner than those of conventional plates, resulting in lower background fluorescence and enabling readings down to 340 nm. Plates have a total well volume of 360 µL. Black pigment walls have low background fluorescence and minimal light scatter. Dense white pigment walls enhance luminescent signals, have low background luminescence, and low background fluorescence.
