The BRAND accu-jet® S provides unsurpassed control in a motorized pipet controller. Pressure sensitive buttons provide fine control, while a motor speed limiter wheel assists in filling small volume pipets. A gravity dispense switch is useful for 'to deliver' pipets, layering of density gradients, and other sensitive applications.
The accu-jet® S has a new shape that allows resting of the instrument with a pipet inserted. The rest position is extremely stable, and allows for easy grabbing and release of the instrument without disturbing it. An included wall support helps keep the workbench clear.
The powerful motor can fill a 25 ml pipet in three seconds, yet is quiet, and creates very low vibration. The battery provides 8 hours of full-speed operation; an LED indicates when there are two hours of battery power remaining.
The pipet adapter fits volumetric and serological pipets from 0.1 to 200 ml. A check valve and 0.2 µm hydrophobic filter help prevent the overaspiration of liquids. The adapter, adapter housing, and filter are all autoclavable at 121 °C for 20 minutes. Two spare filters are included.
The supplied universal charger features adapters for US, Canada, UK, Continental Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
