BOD Measurement Systems

Soil respiration measurements are used for forecasting, surveying and checking remediation work, for biodegradability measurements of substances (pesticides, fungicides, fertilisers etc.) as well as carrying out toxicity tests. This determination is possible with the OxiTop® Control System and special practically tested measuring vessels in a very accurate simple and economical way.

Soil respiration measurements can be carried out in two different types of vessel. For actively respiring soils with strong CO₂ development, the MG1.0 measuring vessel is recommended with its large opening (∼ 100 mm Ø) means that it can easily be used with large volume CO₂ absorber vessels for subsequent quantitative CO₂ determination.
